Because of this, I would not personally be involved in a repackaging of that specific "best of" album out of respect for Scott. However, there are a number of rerecorded songs on it, as well as on "Distortions Of Glory", of which there are currently no plans to append to the remastered catalog. Additionally, there's no reason a collection of tracks more in line with Scott's vision couldn't come to pass in time. I am weighing and will discuss with Omnivore's Cheryl, as the project goes forward, whether or not these re-recordings should find a home in some stand alone form later in the series. Right now we have two albums before us (after The Big Shot Chronicles) and we haven't discussed where to go after that. Delight from Alias recently reopened her webstore and is currently selling the final four titles in the Loud Family catalog on CD on the Alias site, and until recently had vinyl and CDs or the first two (as I understand it), so it's not time to pursue The Loud Family catalog right now as the demand is, or has very recently, been fulfilled. Perhaps in time this will change, but I expect you really need something to be out of print for a while to make reissuing it worthwhile. So, we have two more after "The Big Shot Chronicles" ("Two Steps" and a collection of recordings from the final band line up) but we haven't closed the book on other releases, but we haven't discussed them at this point either. The catalyst to make more albums a possibilities would be sales, as I understand it "Lolita Nation" has done well and I have high hopes for "The Big Shot Chronicles", as well as growing sales of the prior albums all the way through the remastering campaign. If, as the dust clears, it looks to be worthwhile for Omnivore to look at further music from the vaults, I'm sure they will want to review what's available. So buy those records, support the project; Scott's family receive licensing and publishing revenues and that's a good thing, and in time those sales may make more music available to you. And I promise not to toss out sub-par recordings that I believe would disrespect Scott's memory and legacy.
