Totally agree about the Swervedriver. One of those great moments when a band reforms and makes something that stands up next to their best. The Dengue Fever is pretty good too, though I much prefer Cannibal Courtship. I am also enjoying Gaz Coombes new album, Matador, though I don't love it like Here Come the Bombs. Everything Ever Written by Idlewild grows on me every time I hear it, but What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World by The Decemberists would probably be my top pick so far in 2015. Really looking forward to Death Cab for Cutie, Anne Soldaat and also Built To Spill, thanks to Andy's reminder. Richard Sent by me from somewhere. > On 31.03.2015, at 00:10, Tom Galczynski wrote: > > Sorry I am still catching up to 2014 (still stunned by Johnny Marr's "Playland") so I only have 7: > > Swervedriver - I wasn't Born To Lose You https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xfB77uFxQk > Dengue Fever - The Deepest Lake https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJXbIR2AtJQ&list=PL7YIbAuuQZybaPMR2bJ_JZsyVNqIE9OEj > Colleen Green - I Want To Grow Up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qngB3a-V9vw > Menace Beach - Rat World https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LM5yeQVS0uY > The Twerps - Range Anxiety https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07sS7HORWFw > Sleater-Kinney - No Cites To Love https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWc6knXULsw&list=PLzfvZF8qWaJLKf185UJFoPmtwygIRagRi > Belle And Sebastian - Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rgb8am3NQU0 > > Tom Galczynski tgalczynski@hotmail.com > --------------------------------------- > Do not travel far to other dusty lands, forsaking your own > sitting place; if you cannot find the truth where you are now, > you will never find it. -- Dogen > >> On 3/30/2015 3:45 PM, Andrew Hamlin . wrote: >> ...my Albums Of The Year 2015, so far, in order below, with links.
