Allow me to second your endorsement of Jason Isbell's latest offering. It's funny, I read a review of it that said it was a mostly acoustic affair and that Jason had gotten sober before recording it. Seeing how Jason's previous records had been rather raucous affairs, I thought, "well, there's two strikes against it already". I was wrong on both counts. It's really an amazing record. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Date: Tue, 2 Jul 2013 09:49:44 -1000 From: "R. Kevin Doyle" Subject: Re: [loud-fans] RE: At the half... Allow me to be boring and predictable and state how much I have enjoyed Bowie's "The Next Day." My current infatuation, however, is with Jason Isbell's Southestern, with the new Kanye West and Daft Punk also getting a lot of play. Clearly, my next batch of improvised music is going to be country tinged 70's influenced dance music with lyrics about not being able to get a good cup of latte. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 4 Jul 2013 20:57:13 -0700 (PDT) From: Gil Ray Subject: Re: [loud-fans] A Plotnick plug!
