I am simply floored. I don't know quite what to say & at the same time I feel I need to convey how I feel, does that make sense? All I can say right now is that my heart goes out to his family & all who knew him. Safe to say I was obsesssed with Game Theory and then the Loud Family. Above that, as many have said before, he stuck me as a truly gentle soul in the various times I met him while on tour. Words can't convey my feelings well enough; I've lost my musical hero; we've lost an absolute genius & a very remarkable man. I'll be attending a screening of the Big Star documentary tomorrow night with an added pain in my heart. A huge thank you to Sue for making the Game Theory albums available. There will be more converts to Mr. Miller to come, of at I'm sure. Maybe it's because Scott and I are close in age or perhaps because of the ack of details scare me. I had a dream last night that Scott and I were at Disneyland together and during ne of their parades, some country singer was singing Big Star's "You Can't Have e". I said to Scott, "The Big Star Fans have finally risen high enough up the orporate ladder to where they can program the parades", implying of course, hat in another 10 years, it'll be Game Theory songs at Disneyland. He looked at e stone-faced and me said nothing. Finally, does anyone think it would be a good idea to include our lmost-forgotten tribute, "The Tape of Only Loud-fans" on the free download ite? It would be nice for everyone here to have a pristine digital copy (it was fficially released on cassette only), although I'm not sure the entire world ould be interested. ondolences to Scott's family and friends, Doug S. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Apr 2013 08:15:31 -0400 From: Stef Subject: Re: [loud-fans] RIP I stumbled upon this blog (http://bigplansforeverybody.blogspot.com/) a couple minutes ago, scrolled down the page and suddenly read (http://bigplansforeverybody.blogspot.com/2013/04/didnt-we-know-we-had-it-all-scott.html).
