I'm sorry for his fans, family and friends that he's gone. I also have a pre-WikiGoogle tendency to ask those I think know the answer to things that I could find for myself and that's a habit I need to break. And, I look forward to December when I can get a free phone upgrade, so it doesn't take an hour to write an e-mail. It's not a Samsvng Smooth, it's a Samsvng Slow. It is one and the same. Snake tattoo and all. That picture doesn't do him justice. Flash flattens out people's faces. In person, he is still a handsome man, and very warm, polite, and chatty. It was a pleasure meeting him. I confess I was much more focused on Keith, however, with whom I was sitting, literally, shoulder to shoulder. Not an easy conversationalist, but I knew that already, and I was uncharacteristically tongue-tied, but he was warm, kind, and indulgent towards me. Best handshake ever. Period. Ridiculously long fingers. I almost hate to admit it, but I spend way too much time on facebook these days..(though thanks to Robert (mostly) there is a ton of GT/LF related stuff there and the occasional disorderly discussion from various ex-members!) My health seems fine, though it can be taxing to be stressed much of the time wondering how much longer Stacey and I can remain employed. But for some odd quirk in the nature of things we still have jobs. I have a bunch of new songs I want to start recording but it's hard to get motivated when the first step is creating drum programs. Yuck! These are very different from Atomic Man - more pop, less novelty but of course there will be at least some very hard rock. I like the new Dead Weather CD and there are some things on the new New Pornograhpers that I like..Miles Kurosky's new one is good and I bet the next Bye Bye Blackbirds CD is gonna be awesome. Other than those, I'm still finding new old music to get. I still LOVE the Macbook and cannot imagine life without it!
