FYI, two of Tris' previous albums are available as downloads on AmieStreet. One currently for $1.58: http://amiestreet.com/music/tris-mccall/shootout-at-the-sugar-factory/ One current for 15 cents: http://amiestreet.com/music/tris-mccall-and-the-new-jack-trippers/i-m-assuming-you-re-all-in-bands/ AmieStreet downloads go up in price as they become more popular. I got the above earlier this morning for 60 cents and Free respectively. I'm sure Tris probably doesn't see much profit from this avenue. To be clear, I was calling out the list calling them a one-hit wonder, not you. I should have read the whole series of messages before responding because I can see how my comment reads as a reacting to your comment re: GB. If you're not a particularly big fan of Dangermouse or of Top 40, there's sort of no reason to be familiar with Gnarls Barkley, so there's no shame. I only knew about six of the songs on this list. I also found myself asking "if the artist is listed as [So and So] and [Such and such]," does that mean that that both [so and so] and [such and such] are both one-hit wonders individually, or does that they are one-hit wonders only when performing together? This is the sort of thing that keeps me up at night. I have some very strong feelings about the whole concept of "one-hit wonders." Indeed, amongst my immediate circle of friends, this topic brings out the same sort of rabid dorkdom that the eternal question of "who would win in a fight between Thor and The Hulk"* brings out amongst my comic reading friends. *Thor, of course.
