Pepper reissue [Markwstaples@aol.com] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Tue, 29 Sep 2009 00:11:13 EDT From: Markwstaples@aol.com Subject: [loud-fans] Sgt. Pepper reissue The sound quality of this reissue is stunning. Aside from the antiquated stereo separation so popular back in the "gee whiz" era of stereo, this record's sound quality is modern. I wasn't that impressed with the reissue of REVOLVER--a little better, but this one--incredible. What's really weird is that there was a display at the supermarket of Beatles discs--12.99. That's where I bought it. I had the thought that, in another universe, Game Theory reissues are on sale in a display at Piggly Wiggly, while Paul McCartney and Ringo are working day jobs still because they can't afford to retire. - --Mark ------------------------------ End of loud-fans-digest V8 #188 *******************************
