  (It's a shame an album this short should have two really bad songs right up front, but the rest
   of it is a lot of fun and I love the production and loose, band feel.)

   (Really lovely avant garde, archtop acoustic guitar record.)

I highly recommend the Willie Nelson _Naked Willie_ record, too. At first I was worried that it was either classic stuff fussed with or just another version of the early demos, but it really is about revealing some top-notch, classic material that's been easy to overlook because of production issues. "I'm A Memory" is a stunner and the version of "Sunday Morning Coming Down" might be my new favorite.

I'm excited for the new Dylan, Costello and Trashcan Sinatras albums for sure. I'm hoping the Liam Hayes & Plush album will appear this year. And it looks like there will be a new Prefab Sprout album, too. Fantastic!

PS I've been revisiting John Cale's Hobosapiens lately -- wow, what a stunner. I liked it at the time, but it's sounding even better to me now. Lost classic!

"What You Is" and "Your Head Here," the aforementioned "two really bad
songs," are in my opinion completely wonderful.  I'll go even further
and say "Your Head Here" is the best thing Hitchcock's written since
"Mexican God."  But apparently Bradley and I concur that GOODNIGHT
OSLO's a winner.

This is old news by now to the Fegs 'n' Facebook friends amongst us,
but I saw Hitchcock and the Venus 3 last night, and it was
