The Blackbirds played with a really fantastic band called Musee Mechanique last night -- they're currently on tour and I highly recommend checking them out if you can. I haven't listened to any of their recordings yet, but they were stunning live -- haunting, melancholy folk pop. Really great singing and great grooves -- lots of beautiful details in the arrangements. The main guy has a great voice, too, and they do some nice harmonies. Check them out for sure -- one of the better live acts i've seen in a long time,
