The first 'til tuesday record was definitely 3 singles with a lot of filler. Not much can be said about the album beyond "Voices Carry" (Which she'll play at hometown shows and not too much elsewhere), "Looking Over My Shoulder", and "Love In A Vacuum". Epic thought "Love In A Vacuum" was the surefire hit and not "Voices Carry". I thought the first hint of Aimee finding her niche was "Coming Up Close", the song single from the second record. "(Believed You Were) Lucky" should've been a hit on the scale of "Voices Carry"...or at least "What About Love". EVERYTHING'S DIFFERENT NOW took a while to hook me in... but it grew to be my favorite 'til tuesday record. "Love In A Vacuum" is still my favorite 'til tuesday song though. > Early Game Theory is Scott finding his groove to me as > well. I'm also with Mark on this one. However, LOLITA NATION... need I say more? Phil F. ... also loving the new Juliana Hatfield. ------------------------------ End of loud-fans-digest V7 #516 *******************************
