If you like East-European choral with an artsy modern chanting twist, check out this young band with the blue backlights - The name of the song is Matthew (Mateusz) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQnTax8IDns http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warsaw_Village_Band Robert ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 3 Sep 2008 09:31:00 -1000 From: "R. Kevin Doyle" Subject: [loud-fans] Sparks - "Exotic Creatures" So, I've recently procured "Exotic Creatures of the Deep," the latest Sparks album, and its actually rather good. Indeed, the last three Sparks albums, "Lil' Beethoven," "Hello Young Lovers" and this one, have marked a remarkable late career period for this band. That said, I note that, while they received some press and attention (minimal though it may have been) for "LB" and "HYL," they've received almost no coverage for the new album - not even an AllMusic.com review (well, as of a couple days ago - I should go back and check). Thus, I am mentioning it here in the hopes of bringing it to all y'all's attention. Heh. ------------------------------ End of loud-fans-digest V7 #494 *******************************
