We moved our boxes, brought in fans and a dehumidifier, and mopped up the rest with rags. I didn't discover for almost a week, when moving some boxes, that one of the cardboard boxes labeled "Michael Photos and Letters," was literally dripping with water. With heavy heart, I've been trying to dry out mildewing and discolored photos and cards and letters, including photos and letters from dead relatives and photos and cards from travels to countries I haven't seen in decades. As I've gone through photos, postcards and correspondence, some musical items have popped up: 1. photos from a set of Sarah Harmer and Emm Gryner gigs at an apartment in Alston-Brighton gigs, before their records were released in the States 2. photos from the gigs of some long-forgotten DC bands, like Anne Summers and others 3. photos from Loudfan get-togethers in the late 1990s, in DC and Boston 4. Signed tour posters and memorabilia from Joe Pernice, Sam Phillips, and many others If anyone wants digitized images or whatnot, let me know offlist. I may be able to scan stuff and email it.
