Brilliant. One more reason to admire Scott. Could this be any cooler? The question answered by the guy we're here for. Thank you, Scott! May your tennis season be full of victories and free of injuries. Rick p.s. and of course, thank you, Bob, for your splendid initiative. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 16 May 2008 23:39:52 EDT From: Markwstaples@aol.com Subject: [loud-fans] totally different head Decided to nourish my inner teen and unashamedly purchased the complete SQUARE PEGS series. Some of it has not aged well (when it's bad, it's BAAAD--canned laughter was added a few episodes into it so dumb people would know it was time to laugh), but most of it is well-written and still comedically works, and the digital remastering of the pristine film stock is superb. It was edgy for its time (plus you have to like a girl (SJ Parker's character who has a picture of Alvie and Annie on the beach in "Annie Hall" inside her locker). I just think they should've given it one more season. It's worth having for Johnny Slash's little bits (such a shame to lose a such a talented actor so early--Butrick made the show for me). I wish I could have Devo play my Bat Mitzvah (well, that would require me to lose more than a quarter century and change my faiths and gender, but anyway...), - --Mark **************Wondering what's for Dinner Tonight?
