I used to take Lipitor and I'm one of those people that it gives bad side effects to (muscle aches--difficulty walking because my legs felt like iron). The drug may help some people, but I've read some scary stuff about it--some people have become almost paralyzed from taking it for years. I just don't think it's a good idea to mess with Mr. Liver. - --Mark , who does fish oil and garlic these days instead In a series of ads, artificial heart creator Dr. Robert Jarvik recommends the Pfizer drug Lipitor. In one spot, he is portrayed (by a stunt double) rowing on a lake. Although Jarvik is a medical doctor, he is not a cardiologist and is not licensed to practice medicine. Plus, "he can't row," said a colleague, who added, "he's about as much an outdoorsman as Woody Allen." **************Biggest Grammy Award surprises of all time on AOL Music.
