The first time I heard it I about wretched. They took everything that was terrific about that song and just wimped it out of their version, turning it from one of the most wonderfully dark, edgy (and in its own way very hooky) songs ever into this less than mediocre piece of latter day pop/rock fluff. It's like they seriously missed the point. By a mile. Hearing it numerous times since has not altered my opinion. It literally makes me cringe. Um... make that retched. Though the cover itself is wretched. Jen ------------------------------ End of loud-fans-digest V7 #295 *******************************
