A second on Hyaa -- anybody have any MP3s they'd be willing to share? My cassette copy is worn out. Also -- Divine Weeks - Through and Through Volcano Suns - The Bright Orange Years (which I have on a mediocre vinyl to MP3 if anybody wants a copy). Hey y'all, just in case you didn't know and want it, Pylon's GYRATE is out on CD--saw it today and about defecated an eggroll. Though the HITS CD compilation on DB records back in '88 had almost all the same tracks as this, PLUS the CHOMP lp, this reissue is a must-have--the liner sleeve is a replica of the album cover, complete with vinyl "dip ring" a la Costello's GET HAPPY!! cover art. They're playing this weekend in Athens! Plus, the sound quality is better, thanks to two decades worth of digital remastering improvements. The Q's played here last weekend, along with The Killer Whales at the Handlebar (close to my house), and I hadn't a clue. F***!!! Major Killer Whales fan here back in h.school, haven't seen them live since they played the student center at College of Charleston in August, 1985 (fanboy asked if I could help 'em with their equipment, so they got free labor, and I had a blast). Jenny asked me if I liked Stars, and I told her I hadn't heard them--just heard 'em, flipped, and bought their new one, and they even threw in a 45 of theirs along with the CD--nice. Thanks babe! They're on the same label as The Hidden Cameras, btw. Read a book, don't be afraid (no no no no), - --Mark **************************************Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products. Power pop it probably ain't, but anything by Human Switchboard would be nice. Sean Cassidy's WASP--we're still waiting, eh Rick? Beat Pagodas. Melting Fish. Somebody told me Savant made it to CD (but I've never seen one). Next you'll tell me Krist Novoselic went out and joined Flipper, Andy "Not a big fan of the Wu-Tang Clan, are we?"
