Should you have a hankerin' for a Sixteen Candles keychain or a Combat Rock Clash t-shirt, go to Hot Topic--next to the Suncoast Video and the Baby Gap. - --Mark "I think there was a trade-off somewhere along the line. I think the price we paid for our golden life was an inability to fully believe in love; instead we gained an irony that scorched everything it touched. And I wonder if this irony is the price we paid for the loss of God." (Coupland, LIFE AFTER GOD, 1994) **************************************Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products. The Internet is conspiring against you, Jenny. Feel free to use the alias I set up to post to the list. check out hottopic.com to get an idea of what the mall store is about. Apparently the Huntington Mall (which I haven't been inside in several years) has one. When I feel the need to be malled, I go to the one in Ashland, KY, which doesn't have a Hot Topic, but is closer, much smaller, and a much saner place to go. If I could be tempted to hit Hot Topic, though, it would be for something like those Emily Strange cat design sneakers! For now I think I'll stick with Red Tango and various Shag (as in Josh Agle) designs. More up my retro (bowling) alley. I tried to find one of their retro Go-Go's VACATION tour replica shirts a few years ago, to no avail--nobody had any left anywhere. Ah, but I do have a real VACATION tour book from '82, even if it IS yellowed and the staples came loose in the binding.
