I fell in love with 0PB back when I bought and listened to 'Power Trips Down Lovers Lane' based on a loud fan's recommendation. But for some reason, I've just been even more nutso about them recently. I can't stop listening to 'Taste the Flavor'. I finally graduated from the first half of the CD to the second and have 'swan song' stuck in my head. Have you seen them live? I saw Franklin Bruno play before the Loud Family (who opened for someone else) at a show at the Alligator Lounge on Pico. That must have been around 1997. I remember seeing Franklin and introducing myself to him briefly. I also remember the fellow from the OC ("Don't call it that!") errrr Douglas Stanley (?) was at the show. Doesn't really work the way that 2000 was the last year of the 20th Century (and the first of what, the oughties?), not the first of the 21st Century.
