Buy a year and get a month for free, With the amount of driving I do (you can imagine the looks I get on the weekends when people see someone driving a convertible Beetle with a pizza sign on the window--by price not your typical pizza schlepmobile--but I gotta pay for it somehow, even though I did get a nice raise this school year) that isn't bad. I thought it was at least twice that price. I think I'll bite. One complaint about the stereo (branded "Monsoon") in my car--apparently their demographic research has revealed that their customers want a bug that goes boom--I listened to the Rosebuds latest yesterday, and had to turn the bass response down to -3, and the treble up to +3 I just wasn't in the mood for getting jiggy with it. The stereo has so much bass it's embarrassing. Works OK for most stuff, but albums with dense production do not fare well. The system in my car also plays cassettes and they sound surprisingly good. Probably because they don't have the frequency range of CDs. - - Steve __________ I can't resist an anime that includes a small, cute, violence prone girl with a scythe. - John ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 13 Sep 2007 17:01:40 -0400 From: "Dave Walker" Subject: Re: [loud-fans] Sirius "We like the bugs, the bugs that go boom..." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaeNelsAOGo -d.w.
