There's a small batch of other oddities for auction (some DIY, old avant rock, some Giant Sand and American Music Club and a rare Eels live CD). The GT books are lively 22 page album sized books with many photos and the lyrics from Distortion, Real Nighttime, Big Shot Chronicles, Lolita Nation and 2 Steps From The Middle Ages in their entirety. It was printed by Enigma/Rational around the time of "Tinkers..." and sent to fan club members and we sold some on out 2 brief west coast tours with the Scott, Gil, Michael & Joe lineup. Thanks for tolerating my incessant intrusions- Dan Vallor ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 3 Aug 2007 01:57:39 EDT From: Scout82667@aol.com Subject: [loud-fans] name that tune I heard a great song on World Cafe tonight, but need to know what it is. I want this one. It's a dancey song about being a "North American." I don't think it's up on the site's playlist yet. I want this record! Found out about Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn and Jones, Ltd. The source tape used for the reissue are the original first generation stereo master mixes--a different source tape than the Rhino version from '95. That's why it sounds so frickin' good. - --Mark ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 3 Aug 2007 02:07:44 EDT From: AWeiss4338@aol.com Subject: Re: [loud-fans] name that tune In a message dated 8/3/2007 2:05:04 A.M. The band will be on the World Cafe tomorrow. I think Sound of Silver is the name of their album.
