There's a Mitch Easter interview in the new Magnet.  I quote:
 
"I could put out a record that sounded like Dio and they'd call it  'jangle.' 
 I don't think some people listen to the music."
 
Bought one of the Monkees reissues (HEADQUARTERS) that Andrew Sandoval  put 
out on Rhino.  Sandoval's so completist, I think he needs to go on  Zoloft for 
OCD.  The album is remastered in stereo and mono with lots  of extras.  Lots.  
One pic of Nesmith in the studio in the liner  notes is pretty telling.  His 
eyes have that  unmistakable appearance of someone tripping on LSD.
