Getting this thing to work wasn't as easy as I thought it would be.   It took 
me literally hours to figure out how to get music on this  thing--downloading 
software, paying for it, figuring out why the software  didn't activate, etc. 
etc. but it's cool listening to music on what looks  like a piece of gum 
(first generation Shuffle).  I, however cannot figure  out what happened to the CD 
I was going to "import" to my iPod---more  fiddling....
 
99 cents a tune seems kind of high though for music, without any artwork or  
a hard copy of your purchase.  I'm sticking with discs and  transfering.
 
Back to Camera Obscura played on a piece of Wrigley's,

camera, though grudgingly)

Subject: [loud-fans] taken for a ride on the short bus?

Hey y'all,
 
Anybody familiar with itunesandipods.com?  I signed up with them (or  so I 
thought), and I think they are fleecing people, me included.  They got  a 
membership fee from me, and I'm concerned because they didn't ever send me my  
password in an e-mail, as I requested three times.  I should've just  gotten iTunes 
free from Apple, but I didn't know what I was doing, and the  support and 
tutorials sounded appealing, especially to someone technologically  impaired like 
myself. 
 
I'm canceling the card I used, but is there anything else I can do?   (off 
list)
