Subject: [loud-fans] Blue Ray discs

I was curious about these.  You can play DVDs on a Blue Ray player,  but not 
the other way around?  Do they look like a conventional  CD/DVD?  I wonder if 
the format will stick, or will it go the way of  digital tape and Beta.  Not 
that I could ever afford such things at this  stage of their life cycle, but 
the idea of a disc that would have the resolution  of the Star Wars Episode III 
movie I saw in all digital sounds fantastic.
