I would very much like it if you listened in on the web, provided you can tolerate what has been called my "Southern gay man" voice (a middle aged gay man who lives at home with his mother? Who knew). But, I intend to play music and not talk so much. I'm planning on playing my faves of the year, as well as spotlight The LF/Barbeau album and Gil's record (providing I get it in time--certain surprise bills like that 250 bucks for my deductible on the Chevy delayed my purchase Gil). Also playing classic Christmas tunes, like bonus tracks from the new Guaraldi Charlie Brown remaster (something you haven't heard two trillion times), The Partridges (look out for those Bonaduce karate moves!) and some baroque Harry Simone Chorale. I'm also planning on playing at least one GT track, probably "Make Any Vows." There will also be that special third hour where I'll play nothing but Lamb of God and The "Chess" soundtrack. (kidding, I promise) If you have a CD or CD-R of a band you're in or that you know that you'd like for me to play, e-mail me off list and I'll give you my addy so you can send it to me and I'll play and plug it and give addys over the air for interested buyers. WNCW reaches upstate SC, Western NC (and Charlotte sometimes--sorry Robert Smith) as well as Eastern Tenn. Plus, it'll be the holidays, so the audience will be larger. - --Mark "OH MY GOD!! I'VE GOT PORTIS HEAD!!!" (a girl friend of mine cutting up back in the heyday of Portishead) ------------------------------ End of loud-fans-digest V6 #252 *******************************
