If anyone here has a music blog and would like an advance (no artwork) copy, or has a favorite blog they think would be interested, please let me know. There's one song available for streaming at www.myspace.com/byebyeblackbirds , but i'd be happy to have a song or two from the advance posted for download on any interested blogs. Thanks again and sorry for being all about me this morning! love, B ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Aug 2006 15:05:24 -0400 From: Jenny Grover Subject: [loud-fans] video comp update Once again, I apologize that the video comps aren't quite finished. Things keep getting derailed by life and its emergencies (like hubby's bad bike wreck in May). We just about had the live comp put together when my mom had a very bad stroke. I just got back from 2 weeks down there and am trying to catch up on everything else. But here's the plan: there will be two comps offered, one of regular commercial videos (like one would see on MTV), and one of live clips. The live clips come from several shows, all of which had some sort of technical difficulties, including sub-par sound quality on a couple, but which include some stellar performances and interesting moments. You may opt in for either comp or both. It's up to you. For each comp I will accept either a trade of some sort, or a blank DVD-R plus return postage. Whatever container, case, box, envelope you send it in is what I will return it in, unless said packaging is damaged in transit to me. There will be artwork for both comps in both jewel box size and DVD long box size available for download from a website. (Those of you who contributed to a comp will get a complimentary copy of that comp). So, be thinking about what you want. Again, it's not done yet. The live comp still is being assembled and the artwork won't be done until that's finished, but since life also derailed getting our vacation plans for Sept. completed in time (thinking now of SF next spring instead), we won't be going anywhere that I know of in Sept., so maybe we can get it done then.
