Funny you should mention tap dancing, since I was thinking of letting my feelings for the movie be known through a little interpretive dance that I just whipped up. The video will be posted shortly. The video will be posted shortly. Is architecture involved at all? Wow, there is so much I haven't heard yet this year. Plus, I just got a ton of new music from 2005 so I'm feeling a bit unable to contribute just yet. So far, my top record of the year is Thee More Shallows "More Deep Cuts" http://www.theemoreshallows.com/ http://www.emusic.com/album/10868/10868092.html It's just such a beautifully put together record. Other things that might show up on my list are The National, M.I.A., Say Hi To Your Mom, Moggs, etc. I definitely need to apply for an extension this year as I sort it all out. Random asides: A couple days ago, I stumbled across a CD that came out on J-Shirt Records. Coincidence? I always thought that 'J' stood for Jimmy. Am I missing some other reference that makes J-Shirt a non-Scott reference? http://www.j-shirt.com/ Also, I finally got around to watching Tarnation and was glad to hear the song 'Diviner' in it. I recognized it as something I had heard before, but I couldn't place it. The credits reminded me that it was an old Hex song, and sure enough, there was Donette Thayer's name in the credits. Cool that an old Hex song was used in that film. My dream job is to be the person who picks songs for indie films. Not sure how one gets that job, but let me know if you hear of an opening. - -Sarah ------------------------------ End of loud-fans-digest V5 #288 *******************************
