Thanks. I've used this successfully . You may need to download a codec from the site (free) to convert FLAC files. (Although now that I think of it I'm not sure this burns discs...then again there's loads of free apps out there that do.) - -- ...Jeff Norman The Architectural Dance Society http://spanghew.blogspot.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 03 Dec 2005 01:36:08 -0500 From: Jenny Grover Subject: [loud-fans] in for a long winter? Anyone have the new Long Winters? I've only heard Everything Is Talking, but I quite like it. Just wondering how the rest of the album compares. The FLAC Sourceforge page is here: http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html It looks like Nero and burnatonce both do what you're looking for. I might also mention K3B on Linux. I'm sure you're not using Linux, but *everyone* should have a copy of Knoppix in their desk drawer. It's a version of Linux that boots from a CD, doesn't install anything to your hard drive, and is far and away the best tool for rescuing a broken computer. Given that you have Knoppix, it's perfectly simple to use K3B to burn .flac directly to audio CD.
