Is anyone here a Flash actionscript wiz? I'm beating my head against the wall trying to solve what probably needs one line of code to sort out. It involves masking. Thanks in advance to any and all takers. On another front, my thanks to Jeff and Bradley and JRT for bringing up Jake Holmes the other day...I've been a big fan of the Four Seasons' Real Life Imitation Gazette, and Frank Sinatra's Watertown, so it was a pleasant revelation to me that Jake Holmes was also a recording artist. Shame on me for not asking the question in the first place. ;) I received "The Above Ground Sound of Jake Holmes" and "A letter to Katherine December" a couple of days ago (the Radioactive reissues). More on that later, if anyone cares. I haven't heard "A Letter...", but I have the first album and it's a very odd, interesting folk(ish) album. Sometimes it's kind of a moody singer/songwriter thing, and sometimes it's more aggressive and dark. The lack of drums gives it a very uneasy, distinctive perosnality. Apparently the original master tapes have gone missing and the only available tapes are the re-processed for stereo tapes, so unfortunately the sound is not particularily good on CD. Shame on Led Zeppelin for not giving credit to Holmes for "Dazed and Confused"! B ------------------------------ End of loud-fans-digest V5 #265 *******************************
