A very nice surprise considering that i wasn't sure what to think about what I'd heard about her. Very good Alt folk, reminds me of the Roches at their strangest. Which albul is the one to start with? Patricia Barber A man and a woman. Quirky jazz, and a bit unexpected, everything else that I'd heard from her was more straightfoward. Nice, again,,what's the best album to start with her. Close to No One CCC Put the Cure and Beatles together and you have a great joke, these songs match perfectly. The rockstar guide to falling apart, The Pretty Please, nice early bangles sounding pop. Disk two: I predict A Riot The Kaiser Chiefs Great song, old fashioned punk rock. XTC live Meccanik Dancing They don't makes songs like this today. Wonderful. Bucky Done Gun MIA. So this is what she sounds like. Interesting rap, I like this better than most rap. Pasadena Goldie Hawn She can sing, and this is a great novelty song. What movie soundtrack is this from. Side Two Dressy bessy, more good early Bangles like pop. Do all their songs sound this good? Everything Is Neutral Milk Hotel, I was never impressed by this band, but I like this song a lot. Slightly asleep Greg Davis Nice quiet folk. Dodo Ex Girl. When i first saw the ttile, I thought this was Dido. Was rather susprised to her her sing punk rock. Then I looked at the title again, and realized my mistake. Much better than anything Dido would do. When All's Well Everything but the girl. Is this from their early jazz pop albums? Nice song. Sleeping Rough Paddy McAloon, Had no idea the ex leader of Prefab Sprout had a solo album out. Good folk pop. I loved the Fab.
