I have an account with AOL obviously, and one with Juno. I'm seeing ads for classmates.com pop-up on both services, AOL being the most recent. They advertise more than anyone. Are they all over the web, with most of the service providers now? I'm getting weary of seeing the same people's faces over and over. There's Tammy, 1981 4-H Club sweetheart, Lonnie, the shy bow-tie guy (with a pink carnation and a pickup truck), some girl who'd have a name like Freda with a they-just-landed-on-the-moon-and-I'm-out-of-Aqua-Net 'do...I've created little stories and names for these nameless people because I see them CONSTANTLY. Do they get clearance from these people to use these pictures, or are they considered public domain? - --Mark S., hoping it's the former, not the latter Natasha, to love is to suffer. To avoid suffering, one must not love. But, then one suffers from not loving. Therefore, to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer, to suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love, to be happy, then, is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy, therefore, to be unhappy one must love, or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness, I hope you're getting this down. I've been told that I have to hear their lp, but can't find it in the store here, and no tracks to sample at their site. Sounds like? - --Mark S. Also, if you're up and stirring about on Thanksgiving night (Friday at 1am-5), and not in a calorie coma, I'll be manning the controls at WNCW (.org). ------------------------------ End of loud-fans-digest V4 #312 *******************************
