I want an iPod for Christmas, and I'm looking at the Mini and the 20GB. Each has features I like that the other doesn't, but I also don't know entirely what the feature options are. For instance, does the Mini have shuffle play? Is there a nice case for the 4th gen. 20GB that has a belt clip on it? Has anyone owned or otherwise actually used both and have any particular recommendations or warnings regarding one over the other? How is the battery life? Is it close to the 8 hrs. for Mini, 12 hours for 20GB that the specs say? Is one easier to use than the other? I'm not terribly worried about the hard drive size issue, since I think 1000 or so tunes at a time is adequate for what I would want, but 5 times more for $50 more is certainly tempting.
