I love the list. You guys are great. It's even better when we talk about me. he-he If I seem silent for the next couple of weeks, I didn't get mad and leave. I've just got this big portfolio project due of write-ups of all my lesson plans I chose to put in it, both WHERE in it and WHY it's there, so it's a lot of work, and all I have so far are my extremely rough drafts. I have to successfully pass all "performance dimensions" of this portfolio submission before I can student-teach in January, and it is due advisement week for spring term the beginning of November, so I have to spend all non-work, non-sleep time on it. Work to raise The Man's cholesterol levels, sleep, work on one day teaching the children of The Man (for such amazingly high pay)...takes up all my time. Fab. I've had it on three-way rotation with the two versions of the new Jimmy Eat World album. It's a good rock week. glenn ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Oct 2004 11:54:26 -0400 (EDT) From: Aaron Mandel Subject: Re: [loud-fans] Where'd our self-absorbed little friend go? I am not as thrilled with the new Ted Leo as some people -- it's not bad, but without a bone-shaker like "Hearts Of Oak" or "Ballad Of The Sin Eater", the whole thing feels slightly flat. Pitchfork's lead review today pretty much sums up my thoughts. a ------------------------------ End of loud-fans-digest V4 #288 *******************************
