Anybody heard any of them and have any >opinions? Thx. The only one that's truly new is MUSIC IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE, which I have somehow failed to pick up. Lloyd had been selling the other two off his website for a while, and in fact I got them in a box set packed with THE NEGATIVES and a Negatives live disc in early 2002. I wouldn't say that ETC. and PLASTIC WOOD are essential, but they're both pleasant and I'm glad to have them. later, Miles ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 11 May 2004 19:29:05 -0500 From: "Heyman, Elo A" Subject: [loud-fans] (ns) Roger Miller writing for Slate this week. Since no one else has mentioned it, Roger Miller of Mission of Burma is writing a diary for Slate this week. So far, it's not as good as Jean Luc Retard was a couple of weeks ago, but still pretty interesting. Burma's not on tour yet, so both entries have been about Alloy Orchestra. http://slate.msn.com/id/2100235/entry/2100359/ Andrew ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 May 2004 07:57:29 +0100 From: "Angela Bennett & Ian Runeckles" Subject: [loud-fans] Phil Gerrard update Thought the review of the play which Phil is currently in might be of interest to some here - http://www.culturewars.org.uk/2004-01/conflicts.htm - - nice to see that he's the only actor name checked! I hope to be seeing it next week. Ian ------------------------------ End of loud-fans-digest V4 #129 *******************************
