I feel the opposite on that track. I liked the stripped down original better. To me it feels like he tinkered with it a little too much and that with all the guitar overbubs thesong lost some of it's snap. It'll probably sound better on the album which I anticipate will have a rather lush sound. He also has some tracks posted from his most recent, yet unreleased, recording with his brother Bobby, Tim Lee and Mitch Easter. I was fortunate enough to hang around during some of these sessions at the Fidelitorium and can vouch for Robin being a true southern gentleman. His voice may be an acquired taste though. http://www.robinsutliff.com/ Larry ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 8 Apr 2004 19:29:59 -0400 From: Dave Walker Subject: [loud-fans] Greedy Bastages Legal downloads have been a moderate success with tracks priced at the 99 cent level. So what do record labels want to do? Raise prices. http://tinyurl.com/ywzp5 First against the wall when the revolution comes. -d.w. ------------------------------ End of loud-fans-digest V4 #100 *******************************
