Bill doesn't give the details and I can't find any articles on the web, but allmusic.com lists his date of death as March 4, 2004. McGeoch was a great guitar player with a unique style; I learned a lot from trying to imitate his Magazine riffs. *Sigh* - lost another one. I never had a problem with this artist. Even own some of his later pre-sabbatical records. This is something I'd expect from him. But is 17 songs really necessary? He could've chopped 5 or 6 of them and had a nice concise record. Also sounded pretty front-loaded. Phil F.
