I will be playing some good stuff like "All You Need is Love" from the /Ocean Rain/ reissue by Echo and the Bunnymen, as well as a great Split Enz cover from the latest Ted Leo e.p., his version of "Six Months in a Leaky Boat." Also, the new Church and John Wesley Harding, Terry Hall and Mushtaq, My Favorite, Camera Obscura, The Rosebuds (still in heavy rotation in my machine), some early Jefferson Airplane and ELO, Bowie, etc. Also, this guy named Scott Miller. Had bands called Game Theory and The Loud Family. I'll play a track or two of his material. I hope you tune in. p.s. A friend at work gave me a 1998 copy of Amplifier with a Loud Family review in it done by Stewart Mason. Stewart, I've never read your writing before. Good stuff, sir. - --Mark Staples how to be happier Life-changing tools, tricks, shortcuts, breakthroughs-- and, of course, shoes (on the cover of the latest issue of The Oprah Winfrey Magazine) ------------------------------ End of loud-fans-digest V4 #56 ******************************
