I went trying to find a track list for this, and Amazon at least has bumped their ship date from this Tues. to 4 March. the other thing i forgot to mention ... their original drummer was a guy name of ... Scott Miller The only track list I could find has obvious errors: 1. Its all a blur 2. Say it isnt true 3. Breakdown 4. Wouldnt last a day 5. Everything turns grey 6. Message from the underworld 7. El dorado 8. Rearing me apart 9. Cry for help in a world gone mad 10. I kill spies 11. Bloodstains 12. Whats the combination? 13. The earliest Mountain Goats records were supposedly recorded on a cheap portable boombox on similarly inexpensive tape. And they sound like it. (Even ALL HAIL WEST TEXAS, by comparison, sounds downright slick.) If you've got a serious lo-fi phobia, the first few years' worth of the Mountain Goats are decidedly not for you, but the songs are more or less the same as those on the later albums.
