Her website made it sound like it was going to be one of those online-only things, but my store had 3 copies on the day of release, so it should be easy enough to find. It comes in a beautifully designed hardcover book package and has a second disc which includes the video for "Pavlov's Bell," some live tracks, the two b-sides that you probably already got when you ordered the *first* exclusive edition of the album last year ("Nightmare Girl" and "Backfire") as well as two other completely new tracks, one of which is a duet with Glenn Tilbrook. The real reason why you need to buy this, though, even if you already have LOST IN SPACE or even if you don't think you care that much about Aimee, is for the breathtakingly beautiful cover of Coldplay's "The Scientist," which has pretty much taken over as both my favorite cover of all time in addition to probably being the very best piece of music I've heard all year. And I don't even like Coldplay. Jer Your help is urgently needed to save ENDANGERED SPECIES. I have a feeling that if they had a murmuring vocalist somewhat further down in the mix (like, say, Vitesse) I'd enjoy it a bit more. I think the reason Barney Sumner could always sell his frequently awkward words was because he sounded artless (cf. the pitch issues) and, as a result, vulnerable. -d.w.
