(Some guy at artofthemix.org put together a mix CD doing most of this...unfortunately, a lot of it came from not-that-good vinyl.) I note that the British compilation _12x12_ *seems* to feature the longer versions of "Science," "Windpower," "Flying North," and "One of Our Submarines" (but not "Airwaves," damn their eyes!) - our own Stewart notes (in his AMG review of the EP) that the 12x12 version of the last track is the same as the EP version. Does anyone here know if those other tracks are the same versions? I don't want to shell out import bucks just to get generic '80s crap remixes...I know the material on the EP, and at least in the cases of "Submarines," "Airwaves," and "Flying North," they're definitively superior to the shorter versions on _Golden Age_. (Directing me toward a CD containing the full-length "Airwaves" would be wonderful as well...) ..Jeff J e f f r e y N o r m a n The Architectural Dance Society www.uwm.edu/~jenor/ADS.html :: As long as I don't sleep, he decided, I won't shave. :: That must mean...as soon as I fall asleep, I'll start shaving! :: --Thomas Pynchon, _Vineland_ ------------------------------ End of loud-fans-digest V3 #151 *******************************
