Needless to say I've now changed my mind and so decided to try to get hold of a copy of One Mississippi, checking first on eBay where copies were going for $15-20 and all were listed as being OOP. I decided to try elsewhere and discovered that Amazon.co.uk had copies that they could ship in 2-3 days. Not very OOP over here then. Is it so in the USA or is it just some sellers on eBay trying to hike up the price by pretending it is hard to find? Also, the Amazon copies were at an exceedingly reasonable #7.99. Mine hasn't arrived yet, but has been shipped so they must have some in stock somewhere. Hope it's as good as it is reputed to be!
