Which you should, because they rock, loudly and tunefully! I "vigorously" second that. Sloan is one of my all-time favorite live bands. They are very loud, there is no doubt about that, but they lose nonw of their finesse or tunefulness, unlike other bands whom I won't mention by name. Yes I will: The Posies. Now that it's established that Albert sings "Dominance & Submission", would that mean it's him on "Fireworks" (from "Spectres", and a tune that I'm surprised wasn't picked as a single - I think it could have been a hit)? Or is that Joe? My ears are melting, and then my brain... Okay, so what's the story about "Imaginos" originally intended as an Albert Bouchard solo album until it was hijacked and became a BOC record instead? I've always been confused about that because Albert left before "Revolution By Night" anyway, which was several years before "Imaginos". Did he come back? Did they just steal a batch of his demo tapes and reworked everything their way? Or is that Joe? I'm pretty sure Fireworks is Albert. SPECTRES has a lot of would-be pop singles in my mind - too bad it's really only known for Godzilla and for being the follow-up to AGENTS. I go ga-ga over Golden Age Of Leather and Death Valley Nights. Did they just steal a batch of his demo tapes and reworked >everything their way? I think your last supposition is closest to the truth, though I'm pretty sure it was a record company decision. At any rate, the group did seemingly hijack Albert's long-in-the-works solo album and turn it into IMAGINOS. I quite like that album, aside from the heavy metal guest singer screamer dude on the Frankenstein song. Ewww. No pop there. Anyone know if the Stephen King intro version of IMAGINOS' Astronomy is available on CD? Forgot about that one - for some reason I was thinking Hungry Boys was the Joe-sung song on ERECTUS. Weird vocals there on Fallen Angels. >Dude, what are you talkin' about? He sang True Confessions on AGENTS! Allen sang True Confessions? Hmmm. Kinda makes sense, since that's the one where the guitar is doing the same notes as the vocal melody... "Come Together"?? circa 1994 or 1995) had done that theme song. I remember reading about it on their website way back when. Maybe McGuinn/Petty redid it... similar scenario to Cheap Trick re-recording _That 70's Show_ theme "Down The Street". I always preferred the original "Down The Street" anyway. Phil F., who had no idea about Ben Orr singing anything other than "Drive", nor cared until about 2 or 3 years ago. Speaking of which, isn't _The Lace_, Ben Orr's solo record, VERY overdue for an upgraded reissue? If Elliot Easton's record-and-a-half could get reissued, why not Orr's? NP...
