I was there. Scott played a short set (even by opening act standards), but seemed to go over pretty well. He told me once that he only gets nervous about performing when he's either playing solo or hasn't played in a while, so playing solo in front of 1500 people waiting to hear Aimee Mann after not having played for over a year was probably pretty scary for him. Here's the setlist.. My "mnemonic device" was confiscated at the door, so this is from real memory. There may have been an extra song in there somewhere. Just Gone Baby Hard To Be Around No One's Watching My Limo Ride Way Too Helpful Last Honest Face Don't Respond, She Can Tell Inverness Throwing The Election Scott was dressed all in black, and used three different guitars (two Telecasters and his acoustic 12-string). A definite highlight for me was hearing him duplicate the intertwining guitar parts on "Last Honest Face" all by himself. He also brought some little effects box to do the marble sounds in "Don't Respond". Aimee really does look scary these days, but I was high enough in the balcony where I couldn't see her that well, and she sounded pretty good. Like a lot of people here, I still haven't warmed to LOST IN SPACE, but the individual songs sounded quite nice in concert.
