I gave up on it after three tries. I don't know that I think there's anything particularly *wrong* with it, but it seemed irrelevant, to me, in pretty much the same way that the last couple Echo and the Bunnymen albums have seemed irrelevant. Certainly not worth however long it is we've been waiting for Pete and Howard to play together again... glenn Positive PS: Just watched _Before Sunrise_ again. Even lovelier than I remembered. One of the great film love stories? Yes, maybe so. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 27 Mar 2002 01:21:35 -0500 From: "John Sharples" Subject: [loud-fans] George Harrison tribute/benefit this Sat - reminder Gig reminder: This Saturday, March 30 I'll be co-hosting a musical tribute to George Harrison at Freddy's in Brooklyn. The show starts at 9pm sharp and will probably go until about 1am. (Freddy's is small and I recommend early arrival to get a good seat.) An exceptional cast of musicians willl entertain you, each of whom will be playing one or two of their favorite George Harrison songs in their own inimitable styles.
