Date: Fri, 19 May 2006 21:33:36 -0700 So, I'm still playing the new Strange Conversations many x each day and loving it. I was able to see Kris in Portland, OR and I agree, her voice makes everything sound good, but we here in the GREAT Northwest would really like to see the full meal deal, complete band and everything, as not all of us can be road groupies! What say next year Kris plays Corvallis and we rent the Majestic Theatre for her performance? Then the Portland folks and the Eugene folks could all join us instead of us trying to be in both of the other places, AND Kris could see a truly beautiful little town smack dab in the middle of the best part of Oregon! We have the Corvallis Folklore Society here that helps organize great performances (we've had Dougie McLean, Greg Brown, etc.) and given some advance planning, perhaps we could all enjoy a really big show! I'm trying to envision the whole band as I listen to the CD, but seeing it in person would make me very much happier! I really enjoyed Kris backing up herself on the CD, and am wondering if she'll have Julie do backup on the next CD - their voices are magical together! Best wishes to all for a terrific tour, and a long night's rest when the long trek's over, Cathryn Kasper (from Corvallis, OR) - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Heather" To: "Kris Delmhorst List" Sent: Thursday, May 18, 2006 12:05 AM Subject: Re: little-wings: Just a short note... > And i just got home from the show in SF...with the full band...woo hoo! > Everything sounded fabulous!
