I came across a 2 hour show that airs once a week, and is then repeated once, called Music Without Boundaries - -- a very eclectic show, programmed entirely by the host, a guy who produces the seasonal concert series at a wonderful outdoor venue here in San Diego. After whatever song was playing ended, Kenny introduced the next song by saying that it was a brand new song from a woman from Boston...blah blah blah...as I immediately think "No, it COULDN'T be!". But as I found out a second later, it WAS!!!!!!!!! Our little Kris, with a song I heard her do when she was here in the Spring. I can't recall the name, but would know it if I heard/read it. What a nice surprise! - -- For information about my concert series, visit: http://tinyurl.com/ewtv OR http://mypeoplepc.com/members/careydriscoll/musicforyou2/ ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 28 Jul 2003 10:14:59 -0700 From: Carey Driscoll Subject: Re: little-wings: Songs for A Hurricane Review I just figured it out: it was East Of The Mountains that was played. - -- For information about my concert series, visit: http://tinyurl.com/ewtv OR http://mypeoplepc.com/members/careydriscoll/musicforyou2/ ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 28 Jul 2003 20:27:48 -0400 From: jean sapula Subject: little-wings: Can't wait for the new CD Hello folks, just got back from Falcon Ridge Folk Fest...it was a great time, lots of great music....but, no Kris.....Jim, from Signature sounds was telling me how good Kris' CD is....oh...the anticipation grows for "Hurricane"..I was hoping he'd have it on sale early for the festival..maybe we can convince the good folks at Falcon Ridge to include Kris on the schedule for 2004 ...I did pick up Rani Arbo and Daisy Mayhem's new CD at the Signature sounds booth...has anyone else heard it? Hang in there....not too much longer for Kris' CD....Take care....Jean ------------------------------ End of little-wings-digest V5 #29 *********************************
