It was her first trip to our fair city and boy was it long over due. The show, of course, was amazing. Unfortunately, the club had lined up four artists to play that night (what were they thinking?)....so kris only got to play for about an hour. I'm thinking the won't do that to her next time since it was quite clear that 95% of the crowd was there for her. Anyway, she made the most of the hour by squeezing in as many songs as she could. She played a great mix of new stuff and old stuff. From the sounds of the new stuff, this is going to be one great album coming in august (not that we'd expect anything less!) kris said she would definitely be hitting the road in support of the new CD this fall. I'm hoping she'll make it back this way soon. What a treat to hear her live. And how cool to see new people discover kris for the first time. I volunteered to see CD's after the show, and it was so cool to talk to the people who were hearing kris for the first time and were just blown away. Anyway, sorry to ramble! I'll wrap this up now with the set list: waiting under the waves bobby lee broken white line east of the mountains marylou hummingbird north dakota words fail you yellow brick road red herring just what I meant gravity little wings honeyed out open road happy memorial day everyone! jeff in cleveland ------------------------------ End of little-wings-digest V5 #27 *********************************
