It was nice seeing Kris with Steve Mayone on the electric guitar and mandoline. It was the first I'd been at the Pres House, a church chapel right on the U of W campus....great accoustics! On to the setlist...... Cluck old hen East of the mountains Broken white line Hummingbird Yellow brick road Weatherman Mean old wind Honeyed out .....with Kris comments on ? appropriate ? song for a church :-) Little wings encore Lullaby 101 The show was late getting started, so the promoter didn't want Kris to do an encore, but the audience prevailed!!! Lots of Kris fans packed the place, I think Madison is crazy about her :-) I'm looking forward to a couple shows coming up when Kris headlines, including one in good old Iowa!! If you head out to any shows coming up make sure you pick up a copy of the Vinyl Avenue String Band CD. Kris didn't have it last night but said she should have it for the Chicago show tonight and shows after.....it is a great addition to any CD collection!! I went with 3 friends, one who liked Kris better, one who like Erin better, one liked them both...I didn't give my opinion because I'm biased. I didn't have anything to write down her set list and we didn't get an encore ! :-( What I can remember....in no particular order Cluck old hen Broken white line Open Road Honeyed Out Little Wings The train song(what's the title?) and a few more that are new to me She complimented us on being polite by quieting down so quick...but she did start a little late :-( - --- Sharon Pieczynski wrote: > Hi all, > A great show last night, Kris opening for Erin > McKeown....although more than a > few wished it was the other way around LOL!!!
