Yellow Brick Road (she swallowed a bug during this so that put a little kink in the song, but it was still marvelous and it just made her all the more endearing somehow). 2. Garden Rose 3. Bobby Lee (she said this is a new song, and it's one that i haven't heard before...definately a good one). 4. Gravity (she told the story about how this was inspired by driving around in a snow storm). 5. Cluck Old Hen (this had a great story about how she used to sing the blues to the chickens in the hen house when she worked on the farm in maine). 6. You're No Train (another song i have never heard before, but i think i am obsessed with now). 7. Mary Lou (request from audience) 8. Moscow Song 9. Broken White Line 10. Open Road (request from audience) 11. Humming Bird (also a newish song, although i don't think it is as new as some of the others that she played. this one seemed "lori mckenna-ish" to me, but that's probably because of the fire fly verse). 12. Little Wings (request from audience) 13. Ain't No Grave (this was a sing a long, but she explained that she isn't the "sing-a-long nazi" so if we didn't want to sing, she wouldn't make us...most of us did anyway). ENCORES 14. Weatherman (request from audience...she also explained about the Respond CD at this point). 15. Mean Ol' Wind all in all, a fabulous show. I heard everything that i wanted to hear except "sink or swim," but it was such a beautiful day and she stated several times that she was not really feeling the "angsty" songs, so i just decided i would be greatful for hearing everything else and listen to "sink or swim" when i got home. i hope that everyone that made it to the show heard what they wanted to hear! take care, chrissy _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 14 Jul 2002 20:55:20 -0500 From: "folkyboy" Subject: Re: little-wings: biddeford pool concert yay chrissy! :) i love your review! its been so damn long since we've had a good Kris review! you made me all giddy! :) aren't the new songs the best?! whew! i so cannot wait for her to get in the studio in january and put out another album! :) don't feel bad about her not playing Sink Or Swim. she hasn't done that one in a LONG time. i wonder if she could? i wanna hear Summer Breeze live before i die. ;) here's some luck to us both! :) ~tim - ----- Original Message ----- From: "chrissy wentworth" To: Sent: Sunday, July 14, 2002 8:11 PM Subject: little-wings: biddeford pool concert > hello all, > i just got home from the kris concert in maine, so i thought i'd pass along > the set list to those of you who could not make it. it was a great show, as > usual from kris. it was an outside concert on a lawn, and the weather was > absolutely flawless. kris wore a bluish/purple tank top, dark green capris, > and a pair of flip flops. now that i've set the stage for all of you, here > is the set list: > > 1.
