I wanted to post my review since other people did I figured I could too:) It's long....I'm sorry! Anyways, my dad and i got there around 4: 50. I was happy to see that Lauryn Hill was replaced by N'dea Davenport since you all were saying such good things about her! The guy that checked my bag threw away my mountain dews that were unopened and couldn't have cared less about my camera, so my dad went in the trash can and got out mountain dews (nothing scrubby, all it was was a bin of soda. We went over to the b-stage which was in a totally different place than last year which was good since it was on the lawn last year and in accessable to people in the pavillion:( So we watched Abra Moore, who rocked, and then went over to the tower booth where I met Chantal Kreviazuk. I said something like "I think you're awesome" and she said "Thanks you too" My dad took our picture, he couldn't get the camera to work and Chantal was saying "Push the button down harder!". for some reason she was wicked nicer to me than she was to the people ahead of me. Then I got in line to meet Abra Moore. She was nice and I got my picture with her as well. I bought some stuff, a t-shirt (one for me and Colleen), a bag, a program, a sarah poster, and later a Tara MacLean CD I've been looking for. So after that we watched N'dea Davenport and she was awesome! Emmylou Harris came out to sing "Old Man" an old Neil Young song I think. Then I went and met her. She was nice as well and we talked and I got her picture with me, naturally. She apologized from being swetty. I really liked N'Dea. I missed seeing Letters to Cleo to meet her. I heard them though and they were awesome. Kelly, my online, now real friend, was in tower going "Dana! Dana! I'm Kelly!" I was just looking around for a really long time and then we talked and agreed to meet after Luscious jacksons set at the Kodak booth to go meet other Fumblers at Nettwork. I went to see the end of LTC. I aw Kay up close and didn't take her picture. Steve, the LTC bassist, signed my LTC album cover. Next Lucious Jackson came out on stage. They were alright. When Sarah came out my dad said "Whose that?"...she danced on stage. It was great fun. They did "Naked Eye" and had us all do the pogo dance to "Surprise". Then for their last song N'Dea came out and they pulled a little girl up on stage to dance with them. It was sooooo cute! I met up with Kelly and her friend and we met Derek, Chrissy, and the girl that went nuts with the tatoos at the nettwork booth. They're interesting people especially Derek:) Emmylou Harris was on next, I ate my sub and drank my dew during her set. I couldn't really get into it, but she knew how to talk to the audience. Natalie Merchant came out with her for one song. Natalie's set was awesome. I saw her on SNL and didn't think she sounded good, but she was awesome so energetic. I really think she liked us a lot. She did 'Wonder" "Carnival" "Kind and generous" and my favorite "Break your heart" with N'dea Davenport. Then I didn't dare leave my seat between Sarah and Natalie. I was lucky cuz there was no one in the seat infront of me, next to me, or behind me. It was weird. So I was taking many pictures. Sarah came out and looked beautiful. "Last Dance" went into "Sweet Surrender". I liked her setlist better this year than last. Emmylou came out to sing "Angel" with Sarah. It was awesome! Sarah did my favorite "Elsewhere" and I was proudly flailing my glowstick about and dancing all I wanted through all sets:) Then everyone came back out to sing "What's goin on?". Natalie left stage last. This year was much different than last because no one placyed with anyone else. They did their own set and left. Anyway, my two sents:) The show was awesome!
