Just want to introduce myself and get started on meeting other LF-goers. My name is Scott Broughton and I live in Park Rapids, MN. I'll be a freshman at Concordia College this fall. I went to LF in Shakopee last year and can't wait to go again. I bought the 97 CD recently and like almost every song. My favorite artists are Sarah, Jewel (I'm an EDA), Indigo Girls, and Dar Williams. If you're planning on going to the LF in Shakopee this summer, send me an email and maybe we can make plans to meet. I should follow suit. I don't really need to explain myself because Scottie already did that -- I'm just about like him. If I don't meet him at LF this year, I'm going to scream. :) Anyway, my question (which is the real reason for this email) is for LFers who went to Shakopee last year. Scott, at one point, sent me setlists for the artists there, but I lsot them, and he didn't have them all anyhow. So if anyone has the setlists for Sarah McLachlan, the Indigo Girls, and Jewel from last years Shakopee LF, email me at marsfires@hotmail.com. I would realy appreciate it! sara (the lilith angel) ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com - -------------------------------------------------------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe lilith-fair-fans - -or-- unsubscribe lilith-fair-fans-digest ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 27 Jun 1998 08:45:11 PDT From: "Shawna Caspi" Subject: [lilith-fair-fans] Big name artists Hello Lilith darlin's! I have lawn seats and I was wondering if anyone had any idea how much it is to rent chairs there or if that veries. Will there be lots of room on the lawn or will it be crowded? Basically that's it, so if someone would please e-mail me privately about that, I'd appreciate it! Thanks alot!! I'm sending this to the list for the benefit of others who might be going to Indianapolis. Deer Creek (which is where the concert is) has a website at http://www.deer-creek.com, and you can get all the info about lawn chairs etc. Yep, the lawn is crowded. :) Last year I was on the lawn, sitting by myself, and I had a small blanket so I had as much space as the blanket provided, but other people's "territory" was pretty much right up to the edge of my blanket. I strongly recommend getting there *early* if you have lawn seats. Last year I got there about 45 minutes before the gates opened, and was able to score a great spot right in the front of the lawn and not too far off center. Anyway, check out the Deer Creek website, because that should answer most of your logistical questions.
